Roberto, a trained as a chemist and a self-taught photographer, makes images characterized by experimentation with chemistry and light – a return to the foundational elements of photographic technique. Exploring the frontier between the real and the imaginary, his work reflects his interests in the environment, human behavior and symbolism.
Peter Bogardus is a photographer, printer, and book artist best known for his images documenting spiritual pilgrimages. He shoots predominantly with a large format film camera and prints his images from etched copper plates as photogravures. He produces his work in his studio in New York under his own imprint, Khelcom New York.
